Overdrive City Gameplay

At the start of the game, you will name your city. This city is like your base where you can build a variety of buildings and produce materials, parts, and tools. After naming the city, you will get the first car that you can use in the race and compete with your rivals. The player needs blueprints to unlock the cars. After that, you will restore a building called racing center – this is where you access the chapter mode and clear the stages. These are the racing stages from where you can earn rewards like a car’s blueprints, research points, trophies, etc.

You can use the auto-mode in these stages and clear automatically. If you play manually, all you need to do is accelerate and brake at the right time. You can easily win the matches if you have high-quality stats car. In each stage, the Overdrive City game recommends a specific PR that a car must meet to complete the stage easily. PR is the score based on the car’s performance; Speed, Top Speed, Grip, and Braking.

The two main sources of getting car blueprints in the game are the research center and chapter mode. Research Center building unlocks at level 7. There you can spend the research point to get car blueprints.

Overdrive City Review

  • Graphics – Graphics are pretty good. In the game settings, you can set the FPS limit to 60 for the best gameplay
  • F2P – Yep, it’s f2p friendly. You can get cars blueprints, cash, credits, etc. by playing the game.
  • P2W – Yep, it’s P2W – you can buy credits, cash, etc. to speed up the progress. It’s not heavy pay to win – as we said in the above point, it’s quite free-to-play friendly
  • Gameplay – It’s not a real-racing game as we mentioned at the starting of this article. Also, as the title of the game says; Car Tycoon. You get to build a car town where you can service cars, manufacture cars, parts, tools, etc. The players can sell their cars, ship products, and there are plenty of things to do. Overall, it’s fun.
  • Social – You can play with friends; visit their city and buy the parts, tools, etc.

We would rate it 4/5 stars.
